33rd Portland International Film Festival
February 11-27
With more than 100 films from three dozen countries, the Northwest Film Center’s 33rd annual showcase of new world cinema is a film-lover's treat that offers an intimate view into cultures near and far and into concerns at once particular and universal. In addition to presenting critically acclaimed works by emerging and established directors, the Portland International Film Festival (PIFF) features special programming for students, fascinating new documentaries, many of this year's submissions for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, award-winning shorts, new work by Portland filmmakers, and archival treasures.
For information on passes, tickets, schedules, parties, and more, visit the PIFF 33 micro site, pick up a schedule at the Museum, or call the Festival ticket line at 503-276-4310.
