Joan Gratz

An accomplished director and artist, Joan Gratz pioneered the animation technique known as clay painting. Gratz won an Academy Award in 1992 for her animated work Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase. Gratz runs her own studio, Gratzfilm, and is currently represented by LAIKA/house for commercial work.
Participants depart from the Hoffman Lobby at 6 p.m. The conversation continues afterward for happy hour until 8 p.m.
Free for members or with Museum admission.
