Drawing Portfolio Workshop for Teens

Are you a young artist between the ages of 13-18? Do you keep a sketchbook? Do you love to draw? Then you may be interested in applying for the free Drawing Portfolio Workshop taught by artists Carson Ellis and Dana Dart-McLean.

The workshop will be held at the Portland Art Museum beginning in Fall 2010. Teens who are selected to participate will receive one-on-one encouragement and guidance in further developing their work as they create a drawing portfolio. Participants will maintain an art blog and organize a group show at the Half and Half Café in downtown Portland. Upon completing the workshop, participants will have a portfolio and a letter of recommendation.

**Hear from participants in the Fall 2009 workshop.
