Northwest Art Council

The Museum is pleased to announce its first council dedicated to Northwest art. Led by the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Curator of Northwest Art, this council serves a vital role in the awareness and collection of historical and contemporary art created in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Washington, and Wyoming. Enjoy exclusive opportunities to learn about the region’s diverse artistic activities — past and present — through lectures, tours, trips to collections and artists’ studios, gallery openings, and participation in the development of the Museum’s Northwest Art Collection, which ranges from 19th century works to the art of tomorrow.
